Job summary
Amazon’s mission is to be the most customer-centric company on Earth. To get there, we will strive to be Earth’s Best Employer by developing leaders who represent, and can innovate on behalf of, a diverse and demanding global customer and employee base. We seek a highly skilled, versatile, and inventive Learning Experience Designer to develop bar-raising learning solutions to support our accelerated leadership development strategy. A successful candidate will create, curate, and connect content, resources, and interventions into comprehensive and impactful experiences that inspire and engage our leaders.
Who We Are
We are the Talent & Learning Center of Expertise supporting Amazon Devices & Services, the global hub of innovation behind best-selling devices such as Amazon Echo, Kindle, Fire TV, Halo, Ring, eero, Alexa and more. The leaders and inventors we support form a diverse, demanding, and global team with specializations ranging broadly across industries and sectors. Our Learning & Leadership team invents comprehensive, scalable learning strategies and solutions that build leadership capability, drive a culture of innovation and inclusion, and position our leaders to continue delivering novel products and services which delight customers across the globe.
Who You Are
You are a critical player in designing and developing experiences which enlighten, educate, and inspire the world’s most talented leaders. Your expertise in adult learning and instructional design allows you to reliably lead subject-matter experts and stakeholders through the process of uncovering critical business and learner needs, and translate into engaging learning solutions that generate results. Your inventive spirit and flair for experimentation drive you to deliver novel and scalable experiences that go beyond traditional ILT, VILT, or eLearning courses. You design backwards from learner needs and ground your designs in data. Where no subject-matter experts exist, your broad experience, curiosity, and learning agility enable you to quickly become a subject-matter expert in your own right. Your sharp planning and project management skills allow you to manage multiple priorities and pivot with agility when circumstances change or a new direction is set. You collaborate with creativity and transparency in a hybrid and virtual work environment. And you are self-driven with a high degree of ownership and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you regularly must balance speed and quality.
If you are a seasoned learning experience design professional that aspires to ply your skills at the highest level, we look forward to getting to know you.
