We are currently seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to help us build HR solutions behind Echo, Kindle, Fire TV and other Amazon products and services that are changing our customers’ lives every day. You will be partnering with the EMEA Lab126 Hardware, Software and Operations teams + Fire TV/Appstore teams.

This position can be based in any EMEA corporate office location with preferred locations being UK, London/Cambridge, Spain, Madrid or the Netherlands, Amsterdam.

Key job responsibilities

• Provide business partner support & own the people plan for leaders and their teams on a local and regional basis including expansions
• Facilitate solutions on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment
• Engage and retain top candidates. Establish, develop mechanisms to rotate and develop internal tech talent across EMEA.
• Co-own with regional C&B team the comp design based on business needs.
• Review and analyze business unit data & goals to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and the employee experience.
• Provide valuable input and expertise to your client groups as well as the HR Team in terms of legislation, policies and practices, in close collaboration with the HR Partner team.
• Coach leaders in career development & management practices, including the org/team structure.
• Provide coaching and education to managers on resolving more sensitive employee relations issues that may have a higher risk or impact to business.
• Ensure alignment across EMEA businesses and EMEA HR by partnering with peers and colleagues in Seattle, Sunnyvale and EU locations.
• Define, design and deliver business-critical EU and global HR related projects
• Exceptional understanding of strategic organization objectives and be able to articulate these in terms of “where we are” and “where we want to go”.
• Exceptional ability to influence and partner with business leaders, managers and HR professionals across different functions and locations
• Strong facilitation and negotiation skills; able to listen to and persuade others based on sound logic
• Project management and execution skills and a track record of influencing through data-driven recommendations
