A day in the life

As a the Software Development Engine for Recruiting Engine Exploration team, you will join a team of circa six development engineers and scientists to innovate for our customers, who are candidates of Amazon jobs and our recruiting teams around the world.

You will innovate with a wide range of technologies, programming languages and systems, to deliver innovative product solutions. You will have the freedom and encouragement to explore your own ideas and the reward of seeing your contributions benefit millions of customers worldwide.

• Experience designing, building and operating distributed systems (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• Full stack experience, including frontend web development (JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS)
• Linux/UNIX (command-line tools, shell scripts, operations)
• Advanced coding skills (concurrency, profiling and performance optimisation).
