The Product Engineering division is in search of a skilled test engineer. Their software core serves the needs of automotive and mobile app developers by providing SDKs.

The company’s portfolio continues to expand and includes consumer-facing mobile apps, web interfaces, multimedia streaming solutions, and a popular hardware product running Android.

Their support extends to desktop PCs, embedded devices like smartphones and development boards, and cloud deployment. The testing process involves various operating systems, including Linux, Android, Windows, OS X, and iOS, and combines test automation and manual testing.

This is backed by a custom in-house test framework developed over the years.

The company is interested in you if you have experience in UI automation and automated app testing. Linux, Android or iOS would be real useful too.

Test engineers are responsible for various tasks ranging from understanding requirements to creating/modifying test plans, configuring machine/test environments, conducting interoperability testing, and ing bugs.

Suitable candidates will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and autonomy. The requirements for this role include a bachelor’s degree, several years of testing experience, and a passion for identifying issues to maintain quality.

It is also essential to have professional experience in UI/UX software testing or quality assurance for mobile applications, familiarity with automation tools (Espresso, UIAutomator, Appium), and exposure to various operating systems (macOS, Linux, UNIX).

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential.

Desired qualifications include ISTQB certification (foundation level), experience in embedded software testing/development, and proficiency or interest in programming languages such as Python, Perl, Java, or Kotlin.
