Power Flow Validation Engineer
Location: 100% Remote
Long Term
Job Description:
- An electrical engineering degree from an accredited university program.4-6 years of experience in electrical engineering for electric distribution networks.
- Used ADMS tools and functionality to assess the power flow convergence of electric distribution circuits.
- Ideally, experience with OSI’s ADMS but other leading ADMS vendors such as Client, ABB, and Schneider are acceptable.
- Capable of identifying the issues in non-converging electric distribution circuits so the issues can be resolved by our team (if simple fix is needed) or AEP’s Distribution team (if more than a simple fix is needed).
- Lead a team of power engineers working on the power flow validation of substations and circuits using the tools and functionality provided in ADMS.
