This is an exciting time to work at Amarillo College! We are seeking our next Talent Acquisition Coordinator who will be all-in on our mission and who will provide complex human resources support.
This role is pivotal in supporting our organization’s success by spearheading the hiring and onboarding process. This position will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and attracting top-tier candidates while ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
The ability to build strong relationships, multitask, and communicate effectively will be key in driving our talent acquisition efforts forward.
This is an in-person position based in Amarillo, Texas. Candidates must be able to work on-site during regular business hours.
Requirements
EDUCATION
Required : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or 7+ years of overall Human Resources experience will be considered.
Preferred : SHRM Certification
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Required : 3 or more years of experience in Human Resources.
Preferred : 2 or more years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Recruiting.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Compile data from multiple sources, including applicant tracking systems, HR databases, and performance evaluations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to travel between offices and buildings, and requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull and / or maneuver office supplies as needed.
Conditions of Employment : All employment offers are contingent upon satisfactory completion of the pre-hire process, including a criminal background screening.
Salary : Amarillo College Staff Salary Schedule grade 13. Placement within the pay grade dependent upon candidate’s education, experience, credentials and skills.
