The Team

Due to a significant period of growth forecasted for the next 2 years and additional workforce requirements to ensure we are ready and able to keep our residents and clients safe in this uncertain environment, we are looking for a new recruiter to lead our corporate and homecare recruitment. We are a relatively small team of 6, that works quickly and collaboratively, using lots of great technology to automate and support our process, whilst providing a high level of candidate care.

This role requires a well organised recruiter from an internal or agency recruitment background, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders in our corporate and home care areas of business, lead and facilitate assessment centres, identify new and under utilised sourcing avenues. The role has one direct report so leadership skills are essential. You must be self motivated, resilient and able to work independently, but be a strong collaborator, have a sense of humour and be willing to jump in and lend a hand when required.

What will you be doing?

• Partnering with our corporate and home care business areas to recruit across a broad range of high volume roles (Professional and Community Support Workers, Hospitality staff, Registered & Enrolled Nurses, and Allied Health professionals)
• Proactively building a pool of talent for your portfolio; sourcing and engaging high quality candidates for current and future opportunities
• Facilitating and leading assessment centres for high volume roles
• Continuously identify and evolve sourcing strategies to ensure that Amana Living attract the best quality candidates available in the market
• Managing the end to end recruitment process with the help of high quality technology
• Working to fortnightly inductions and providing induction information to new starters
• Coordinating Student, Graduate and Traineeship recruitment activities
• Offering a consultative approach to hiring managers, including building and maintaining effective working relationships and providing training on the TA process

• A team player with a can-do attitude, who is proactive and responsive, and enjoys high volume recruitment or has had exposure to high volume recruitment from a recruitment admin perspective
• Strong sourcing experience or willingness to upskill
• Excellent organisational and administration skills, plus a sense of urgency
• A strong candidate experience focus
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

Essential criteria:

• Experience in a high volume, fast paced internal recruitment or agency role or similar
• Experience within the aged care/health care industry (preferred but not essential)
• Strong computer literacy with intermediate MS Office skills
• Adept in the use of PageUp (or a similar applicant tracking system)
• Drivers licence and car for occasional travel to sites
• COVID and FLU (2022) vaccinations
• Police Clearance (no older than 6 months or willing to obtain one)
