As a key member of the UK People & Culture (P&C) Leadership Team you’ll play a pivotal role in our mission to ‘contribute to the success of the UK business by aligning P&C to UK business objectives, strengthening leadership capability, building talent and enhancing the employee experience’.

Additionally, the Talent Manager is a key influencer and driver of the UK D&I strategy, provides thought leadership and advice to employee community groups, senior leadership, and P&C colleagues on talent matters.

In this role you’ll:

• Own and develop a talent acquisition and learning & development strategy for the UK market, in collaboration with the broader P&C and Global Talent teams, aligning them to the strategic business priorities
• Support the creation and delivery of the Diversity and Inclusion strategy, projects and initiatives
• Oversee the ongoing implementation of and improvements to the induction, learning and development, graduate, trainee and work experience programs
• Lead the ongoing design and improvements to talent acquisition, onboarding and talent development processes
• Ensure full employee understanding of the range of learning and development offerings available and be conversant of expectations and experiences of our existing and potential future learning offerings
• Act as the Talent subject matter expert and trusted advisor to senior leaders and P&C colleagues in the UK and globally, to demonstrate influence and impact on UK talent activities
• Advise P&C Business Partners, Pay & Reward, line management on local recruitment matters, suggests improvements to recruitment effectiveness, embeds best practice
• Oversee the governance of our immigration and visa application processes, budgeting and reporting
• Optimize direct sourcing channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Glassdoor and other job boards
• Monitor and report on talent performance KPIs / SLAs and adjusts processes accordingly for continuous improvement

• Overseeing the governance of all recruitment and learning and development policies, employment contracts (contingent, permanent, trainee, etc.),

• Manage all vendors, monitoring service level agreements, PSL reviews, RFP’s and negotiations
• Participate in the annual Top Employers certification process, demonstrating that our Talent programs are aligned to best in class during and subsequently, make recommendations for adjustments following feedback
• Ensure the wellbeing of a high performing, committed and close-knit Talent team, coaching them and providing them with an environment that empowers them to grow to the maximum of their potential.
• Cultivate a positive, collaborative, ‘can do’ team approach within the Talent Function and across the People & Culture department.

• Represent the Talent Team at corporate level and with Talent teams across the globe, collaborating with these groups to deliver on corporate Talent initiatives, to ensure consistency across sites and to provide expertise, support and advice, when required.
• Extend your internal networks as part of an extended member of the Global Talent Community, contributing to the design of global projects and/or implement key global Talent projects across the UK market
• Support the P&C Business Partners by keeping them informed of changes to corporate Talent standards and initiatives for each stage of the employee life cycle and so they can be implemented and communicated locally
• Develop a strong external Talent network, representing Amadeus in conferences, and participating in industry associations.
• Monitor UK market developments for new trends and connect back to relevant P&C UK Talent strategies and programs.

About the ideal candidate:

• You’ll be degree educated and/or have the equivalent experience. It’s a bonus if you have a Masters qualification.
• You’ll demonstrate a proven track record of designing and successfully delivering talent programs and solutions.
• You’ll be highly creative and able to influence business leaders, able to quickly translate Business/P&C strategy and objectives into required talent strategies and solutions that contribute to the success of business strategy and the employee experience.
• You’ll demonstrate a collaborative approach to coordinating, negotiating and decision-making across all levels of leadership and cross-functional teams in a global-matrix environment
• Show an in-depth knowledge of the key aspects of talent acquisition and learning and development
• You’ll be passionate about enhancing the success of your team, of energizing direct and indirect teams to ensure the strategic business plans become operational reality.
