Summary of the role

Within Payments, Amadeus serves every part of the travel ecosystem, powering better journeys through payments technology. We build on Amadeus’ 30+ years of experience in the travel industry by driving the company’s diversification into new sectors and product areas.

Today these two business units are joining forces to allow hospitality to expand their business by integrating our Payments solution. To achieve this integration, we’re creating a team that will oversee all of the development activities needed on both Hospitality and Payments products.

As such, we’re looking to hire an experienced Java Software Engineer to join the team.

In this role you’ll:

• Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies
• Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation
• Develop software according to Amadeus standards
• Model, design and implement databases
• Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines
• Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product
• Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst

About the ideal candidate:

• You’ll come from a strong C# development background
• You’ll possess excellent interpersonal skills
• You’ll have a degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent industry experience
• Industry experience within the Hospitality and/or payments sector would be a plus
• Experience of Service based integration, databases, API, C# or C++ would be a plus
