About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented People professional to join our People team as a Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).

As an integral member of the Regional Leadership Teams, the HRBP plays a crucial role in supporting the Operational region to achieve its strategic objectives.

They partner with the Regional Operations Leadership Team to understand and contribute to their strategic and operational plans enabling organisational activities to be aligned to our common purpose. They provide value adding people expertise, leading the delivery of short- and long-term people plans (for both volunteers and employees) that help create the best environments for our people to flourish, our people vision to be achieved, ensuring alignment to the overall Society People Plan.

You will work closely with our People specialists such as Talent Acquisition, Policy and OD, in a highly collaborate way, delivering a “one team” approach.

About you

We are looking for someone who can support the managers by identifying and implementing good People and OD solutions, with sound business acumen, acting as a champion for change and with the ability and credibility to influence managers.

You will need excellent current knowledge of employment law, and best practice in People policies, principles and procedure. You should bring significant experience of providing advice on employment issues including employee relations and TUPE, in a multi-site organisation ensuring effective solutions, balancing risk, engagement and commerciality.

We are looking for someone who will be able to work collaboratively, develop strong relationships and coach, challenge and influence to ensure effective fit for purpose business solutions, resolving conflict where necessary. You will be confident using data to create insight and support evidence-based decision making.
