About the role
This role will deliver a professional, customer focused HR Advisory service to managers within the Society, supporting them to deliver their business and people objectives. You will work as part of a proactive, innovative and responsive Business Partnering team to provide pragmatic and business focused HR solutions. You will have the opportunity to build and develop relationships with managers by providing support and guidance on a range of HR matters and to share best practice.
This role’s primary responsibilities are:
Provide an efficient, effective and customer focussed HR service which advises and coaches managers and employees on all aspects of an employee’s relationship and engagement with the Society
Provide consistent advice and guidance to line managers on people policies, procedures and legislation, coaching managers to find their own solutions
Manage individual employee relations cases including performance, absence and conduct and follow up with managers to ensure an effective outcome
About you
This is a great role for someone looking to move into Business Partnering and has experience of providing generalist advice and coaching to managers on all aspects of HR and employment law. It requires current knowledge of employment law and best practice in HR policies, principles and procedure. We are looking for excellent communication skills and the ability to use coaching and influencing skills to enable excellent people management. You will have a pro-active approach to work and problem solving, with the ability to spot and deal with issues as they occur. You will enjoy helping others to develop a common focus and clarity in what they are trying to achieve.
