We are looking for a capable, intelligent, and confident person aged 20 to 30 with suitable experience to work with two children (15y.o. and 10 y.o.) both with ASD. You would be willing to drive the children to school as well as pick them up and take them to their appointments. You’d be willing to drive upto 30mins to get to the job.

You have strong values around care, service and personal development and have a great ability to build trust-based relationships with those around you. You are mature minded and are able to comfortably interact with both children and their interests.

You have advanced people and communication skills, maturity, a sense of humour, extraordinary patience, and an ability to encourage people to do the things they will try and avoid. Others describe you as honest, smart, fun, reliable, consistent, and hardworking. You are tech-savvy and will be required to document your interactions into our database.

You are interested in honing your skills in Disability Support and are looking for a casual role that allows you to provide companionship and guidance to our participant.

The successful candidate will have great experience, and the motivation and passion to support people with ASD.

If successful, you will be available to work Tuesday and Thursday mornings 6.30-9am, Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 2.45-6.45pm, as well as 3 hours on either a tusday or a thursday as a cleaner. All shifts with Alya have the possibility of increased shifts and hours with time.

Due to the importance of this role, we are offering;

Weekday – $30 per hour

Saturday – $40.41 per hour

Sunday – $51.95 per hour

Public holiday – $63.50 per hour
