Welcome to Alvin’s Jazz Club. A throwback to the quintessential New York City dining experience of the 1930s and 40s, with a modern approach. Cocktails are our specialty – build your Martini, enjoy expertly curated wines and spirits, and specialty cocktails.

Alvin’s Jazz Club is seeking a Dishwasher ready to take on the task of elevating guest experiences!

Position: Dishwasher

Terms of Employment: Full time. Candidates must be flexible and can work days, nights, and weekends.

Job Duties:

• Ensure plates, pots, pans, cutlery, etc. are clean and sanitized.
• Put clean items away to assist the team with a smooth service.
• Beginner prep tasks: peel vegetables, portion product
• General cleaning in the kitchen: sweep, mop, sanitize.
• Aid the team with small jobs needed throughout the shift.
• Ensure proper closing procedures are followed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to commute to SE Calgary
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate well with the back of house and front of house staff
• Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, high volume restaurant is required
