Account Executive, Software Sales (B2B – Education & Nonprofits)
360Alumni provides fundraising and community engagement solutions for nonprofits and higher ed. Organizations of all sizes utilize 360Alumni to stay connected to their alumni and empower them to connect to each other through groups, events, the job board, fundraising efforts, an interactive map, and messaging – all in a single, easy-to-use platform.

We are looking for a competent Account Executive to work directly with the Founder & CEO to build pipeline and a predictable revenue generation process, then support the establishment of 3 industry divisions as we expand the sales team.

In this role you will find business opportunities and manage customer relationships. You’ll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base. The ideal candidate will have talent in software sales and experience in customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach. The goal is to find opportunities and turn them in long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction.

There is no travel required in this role and all team members work remotely.

In this role, you will:

• Maintain high levels of prospecting activity and the ability to quickly establish credibility and trusted relationships with prospects.
• Develop and lead compelling, high-impact online software demos; maintain, update and improve the software demonstration environment and related tools.
• Actively drive the solution and technology evaluation stages of the sales process with prospects of various levels (basic understanding of APIs, databases, domains, etc).
• Become a product expert and respond to RFP requests detailing our platform’s various capabilities.
• Help organizations improve their alumni/constituent engagement strategies
• Bring your thinking, strategies and ideas to advance our company’s values, culture and vision for the future.

We’re Looking for Candidates with:

• B.A. or B.S. degree, or demonstrated commitment to learning in online/alternative programs.
• Experience using and managing SalesForce, strong technical skills with a variety of tools.
• Initiative to find or create the resources and lead generation efforts needed to be successful in this role.

• 4 years experience in sales/customer service environment.
• Experience with SaaS & cloud-based software, enthusiasm for using and explaining their benefits.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to balance multiple prospective customer conversations at varying stages.
• Natural sense of curiosity with a desire to problem solve for others.
• Confidence to present to 2-10 senior staff in online demos.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
