Rochdale Sixth Form College opened in 2010 with the ambition to inspire post-16 learners from our diverse local community and raise their aspirations. We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic and passionate HR Assistant.

Overall Purpose of the Post

• Support the Trust Head of HR in providing high quality and efficient HR service for the Trust.

• This is a “customer” focused role to provide comprehensive, accurate and timely HR administration support and advice across all aspects of HR and to assist with the development of the HR administrative function.

• Working with staff within the Trust, with particular focus on recruitment, employee records, operational HR and payroll administration.

Interviews are expected to take place week commencing Monday 10th January 2022.

The college was awarded outstanding status by Ofsted in 2013 and has developed a national reputation for excellence, having been used in Ofsted case studies for sharing best practice. The development of the Trust stemmed from a commitment to raising aspirations and improving the life chances of young people throughout the borough of Rochdale. In 2019 the Trust was successful in its application to open a new free school, the Edgar Wood Academy, which will serve the local community in Middleton and Heywood.
