We are seeking a Cannabis Education Specialist with substantial expertise in the medicinal cannabis field. In this role, you’ll play a key part in our mission by developing comprehensive educational materials and enablement tools for our portfolio of medicinal cannabis products. This role is instrumental in creating tools that enable healthcare professionals to confidently prescribe medicinal cannabis and change the lives of patients.

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Cannabis Education Specialist will be primarily responsible for developing education and enablement materials that are scientifically and clinically-oriented which align with our strategic goals. You will work to empower healthcare professionals, patients and B2B partners. 

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deploy educational materials for healthcare professionals and clinics, underpinned by rigorous research and evidence-based science. 
• Translate medicinal cannabis insight into tangible materials appropriate for clinical applications.
• Simplify complex topics into digestible formats while maintaining scientific and medical accuracy.
• Build sales enablement tools to assist healthcare professionals in the effective prescription and administration of our medicines. 
• Evaluate the efficiency of educational campaigns using data analytics, providing digestible insights that can be used to drive future initiatives. 
• Collaborate with the design team to develop brand-aligned educational assets. 
• Coordinate with sales, regulatory and marketing teams to ensure delivery of key educational initiatives. 

Must Haves 

• A deep understanding of cannabis medicines is required. 
• Demonstrated experience in similar roles in either medicinal cannabis field or similar industries (Health, Wellness or Pharmaceuticals, FMCG or similar)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
• Team player with a performance driven mindset.
• (A plus to have) graphic design capabilities, or an understanding of how to brief and work with designers

EXPERIENCE AND KEY CRITERIA

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Marketing or Social Sciences. 
• Experience within a similar industry (Health, Wellness or Pharmaceuticals, FMCG or similar), or a high-growth business setting – ideally within a marketing role. 
• Australian citizenship or permanent residence is a requirement for this role.
