Financial Accountant | 12-month contract |Commercially focussed non-profit | Hybrid Working
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a rapidly growing commercially focused non-profit, during a period of change. The Financial Accountant position will be on a 12-month contract initially, and will be focussing on working towards completing year-end and working as the main point of contact for the external auditors.
Key Responsibilities

• Work toward the year-end reporting overseeing all accounting and reporting
• Be the main point of contact for external auditors, helping with any queries or questions
• Developing reporting to work efficiently and succinctly during a period of growth and change.
• Manage the day-to-day oversight and coordination of the annual audit process
• Assist in any process improvement and other ad-hoc projects associated with the audit
• Develop the audit planning and monitoring process

Person Specification

• A part-qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIPFA)
• Strong understanding of the year-end process
• Experience of liaising with external auditors, understanding and anticipating their needs
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders
• Experience of the non-profit sector would be beneficial but not essential

Although this is a 12-month contract, there is potential for further opportunity on completion due to a large and varied finance team. They boast an incredible internal culture with a supportive environment and hybrid working (min 3 days from home).
