Finance Controller, £400-450 per day – Flexible Working (Immediate Start)
Altum Consulting are partnering exclusively with a well-known hospitality business with a global presence to recruit a Financial Controller. This contract role is for a minimum of 4 months with the potential to extend.
The financial controller will play a crucial part in providing financial support to senior leadership and assist with their multiple sites which are situated globally. The successful candidate will prepare statutory accounts, manage the annual audit process and be the first line of contact with external auditors, banks, and other authorities.

• Oversight of day-to-day financial operations.

• Be a solid business partner (operational & strategic) and act as financial expert

• Ensure meaningful consolidated monthly management accounts are being prepared and reporting on performance to Executives and the Board.

• Treasury and cash management duties

• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts

• Develop and continuously improve internal controls and policies across all finance functions

• Manage, lead and develop the finance team (10, 2 direct reports)

You’ll be/have

• Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA

• Minimum 3-5 years PQE

• Practical experience leading a team

• Experience within property/real estate would be advantageous

• International Accounting experience

• Solid tax & regulatory knowledge

• Concise and clear; able to simplify complex problems to non-finance stakeholders

• Advanced excel
