Altum Consulting are proud to be partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities, a wonderful charity that supports families during stressful and difficult times, when their children are receiving treatment in hospital. The role is a Finance Assistant, with a particular focus on Sales Ledger and Income.
This is a competetively-paid role within a lovely and welcoming team that will work to bring in income from corporate donors and from many of the exciting events the charity arranges throughout the year including Gala Dinners. There may also be some involvement in treasury and the opportunity to diversify your experience into other areas of finance.
There is also the possibility to apply for study support should you wish to pursue an accounting qualification longer term.
Role responsibilities

• Maintain the AR inbox and respond to any queries.
• Work closely with donors to ensure funds are received in a timely manner
• Rebilling suppliers where necessary.
• Performing reconciliations across the receivable ledger and the control accounts.
• Raising periodic and ad-hoc invoices.
• Providing customer support where necessary.

Person specification

• Experience having worked in accounts receivable previously.
• Able to work to deadlines and prioritise work in an efficient manner.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when inputting data.
