Talent Acquisition Lead

We are looking for energy, attitude and some experience in this field, however we would expect you to grow with the role, as we expand from 65 to 150 people over the next three years and we will help you to do that.
The Role: In this new and exciting role, we are looking for someone who has the vision, ability and communication skills to bring clear focus to our long-term recruitment strategies, across all aspects of our business, as well as fully supporting the immediate needs of our Heads of Teams.

As Talent Acquisition Lead, you will personally work directly with the five Heads of Teams (Commercial, Customer Acquisition & Marketing, Customer Service, Finance and Technology) to identify their recruitment needs, develop strategies to find great candidates and be involved in the end-to-end hiring process. We are keen to discuss the role with candidates that have experience working in start-up and scale-up organisations, however, it is energy and attitude that will make you stand out.
A particular focus for the Talent Acquisition Lead will be on our recruitment strategy for our fantastic in-house Technology Team. Technology is central to everything that we do at Alternative Airlines. Our Tech team is always pushing the limits. We rapidly design, develop and test new products to improve both the flight search and booking experience and streamline our internal processes. Our Tech team are back-end and front-end engineers, digital experience (UX/UI and design) and product specialists. Working closely with our Head of Technology, we’re excited to work with someone who is passionate about finding and recruiting talented and motivated people in our Tech Team.

Alternative Airlines has grown from a very small team in 2017 to its current size of 65. Attracting and finding the right people with the skills and motivations is very important to the future development of the business. Alternative Airlines has an excellent opportunity for further growth and we anticipate that by 2025, the company will consist of around 150 people. Like many start-up/scale-up businesses, recruitment strategies have so far been developed and organised by our Heads of Teams alongside the Managing Director. We now want to find the right person to lead, develop and drive this important aspect of Alternative Airlines.
