Altak Group Hiring for TECH OPERATIONS LEAD ENGINEER at Remote Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Guide and lead a team of monitoring engineers, analysts, and TOC operators.
• Direct and maintain the technical well-being of essential infrastructure and software.
• Champion the growth of the team and processes essential for around-the-clock monitoring services.
• Spearhead the integration of monitoring tools like Dynatrace with ServiceNow for effective event management.
• Supervise the day-to-day monitoring of Infrastructure and Application performance at an organizational level.
• Use monitoring tools, especially DynaTrace, for pinpointing and solving intricate system performance issues.
• Design guidance documentation in response to monitoring alerts.
• Oversee Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the TOC, ensuring timely ing.
• Manage daily system health assessments of vital infrastructure.
• Initiate and lead discussions with various teams for monitoring requirements.
• Draft and update accurate procedural documents for the TOC.
• Provide managerial guidance on technology tasks.
• Create communications regarding IT challenges, upgrades, and outages for a wider audience.

Additional Tasks:

• Monitor systems through tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, SCOM, ITM, and SolarWinds.
• Verify and investigate system alerts.
• Escalate concerns to Tier 2 operations when required.
• Real-time surveillance of pivotal systems.
• Offer event and communication management assistance for the TOC.
• Support rapid responses to system issues.
• Collaborate actively within the team.
• Generate s and process documents for team actions.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
• A decade of experience in NOC/TOC roles, with progressive responsibilities.
• Minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity within a NOC/TOC for a large enterprise.
• Proficiency in evaluating IT processes to optimize efficiency.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational capabilities.
• Familiarity with enterprise dashboards and monitoring platforms.
• Strong interpretation skills for metrics derived from monitoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge in devising mature operations center procedures, tools, and automation.
• Awareness of IT Infrastructure Operations (systems, network, security).
• Experience with ServiceNow Event Management.
• Proficiency in Dynatrace Monitoring.
• Familiarity with monitoring/ing tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, SCOM, ITM, SolarWinds, and ServiceNow.
• Past experience in Incident Response roles.
• ITIL certification or comparable experience.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Willingness to travel:
