We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Talent Acquisition Team Leader to join us. You will be working directly with our people managers to find the best trade and technical talent for some of Australia’s largest infrastructure projects!
In this role you will be responsible for:
Delivering the full end-to-end talent acquisition process for trade recruitment: discuss business requirements, set the recruitment strategy, create job postings, review resumes, conduct phone screens and interviews, manage the interview process and candidate communication, conduct references checks, oversee pre-employment processes and other onboarding activities.
This is a hands-on role, with a national scope, where you will work with an internal team and manage external suppliers, to deliver trade talent for the business across Australia.
Guiding managers through the hiring process and implementing innovative sourcing strategies, you will ensure contemporary practice and a streamlined service is delivered to both candidates and hiring managers, ensuring an outstanding candidate and hiring manager experience.
In this start up role, you will be responsible for leading the team and coaching to support a high performance and continuous improvement culture driven by analytics and recruitment performance reports which you will developand impement to guide decision making and delivery of KPIs.
A key partner on employer branding initiatives, you will be responsible to position and promote Alstom as an employer of choice and leader in the transport engineering industry.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience required include:
Previous experience within a fast-paced blue-collar labour market (Rail would be a bonus!)
Experience leading the recruiting process using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Successful stakeholder management experience, with demonstrated business partnering capability
A drive for results and ability to work autonomously
