Purpose of the Role:
Business partner to Site Director and primary liaison point for financial support between the Site, Projects and other Transverse functions such as Supply Chain, Sourcing, Quality etc

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of estimating, financial analysis and reporting related to the Dandenong Manufacturing Site

He will drive Industrial performance: Cost Optimisation, Manufacturing Productivity, Inventory control and Optimisation

Supports strategic initiatives related to new footprint, restructuring, CAPEX

Primary Responsibilities:
Be the primary contact point for all financial reporting, re-forecasting, and budgeting activities related to the Manufacturing Site.

Coordinate with Methods, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality the reporting Site financial KPIs

Deploy tools and processes to enable efficient tracking, reporting, and controlling of Site financial performance

Liaise with Project Managers/ Project Finance Managers and conduct regular Project to Site reviews and alignment meetings

Monitor and report evolution of Site workload vs Project Demand and control and optimise Site under/over cost recoveries

Work closely with the Site Director and Operations Manager to streamline the financial reporting of the Site with regards to Work Order Closures, Work in Progress, Inventory Control, Manufacturing Hours, Inefficiencies, and Site Opex.

Coordinate forecast and budget process for Dandenong site

Work closely with OPS managers to document scope changes and schedule impact

Work closely with the Supply Chain function to monitor and report the flow of production materials and drive good financial discipline with regards to inventory management at the Site

Support Site Director with ongoing financial analysis and modelling of the Site costs during Site ramp-up/down.

Support Site Director with modelling of EBA related costing and commercial arrangements

Domain expert on Site CAPEX, Restructuring, Make-Buy analysis

Drive Cost Optimisation initiatives with the Site Director

Key Requirements:
University Degree in Finance or Economics

Postgraduate in MBA a plus

5-10 years of related Finance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment in multinational companies

Experience in Consulting or Big 4 Audit Firms a plus

Knowledge of Project & Management Accounting and Reporting and Budgeting

Local experience in Companies of similar sector considered an added advantage

Experience in SAP or other Manufacturing ERP systems

Previous business partnering experience working with Operations as Finance leader

Good interpersonal and communication skills
