KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Evaluation and monitoring of projects of the Sales & Delivery with regard to value creation, costs and free cash flow, associated opportunities and risks, including the continuous creation of forecasts and analysis of deviations
- Financial evaluation and advice on budgeting, strategic planning and monthly forecasts
- Providing impulses and consistent implementation of these to improve projects, including measures to reduce costs
- Coordination and monitoring of the release of invoices and guarantees and the data from the activity accounting
- Ensuring the accuracy of project calculations including review of changes
- Review project risks and opportunities, initiate measures to improve / achieve goals
- Execution of invoicing internally and to external customers and reduction of retentions
- Ensuring the completeness and correctness of all project-specific data in the contract summary and balance sheet
- Permanent analysis and monitoring of all closing activities in coordination with the Accounting & Reporting department
- Compliance with BAM, IFRS, corporate guidelines, HGB, CASRA and OSC regulations as well as support for the corresponding reviews
- Support reporting to management, group functions, etc. regarding closing data and ad hoc requests
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- University degree in business administration or industrial engineering and management
- Several years of professional experience in financial controlling, ideally from medium-term manufacturing projects
- Experience in cross-location cooperation
- Extremely independent and careful way of working, pronounced analytical thinking and very good understanding of numbers
- Result-oriented action, entrepreneurial thinking, a high degree of assertiveness and very good communication skills
- English and German business fluent, spoken and written
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. Good knowledge of SAP R3 and SAP BW or other ERP and BI systems are an advantage.
