Our Finance team is currently looking for Finance Graduates or entry level Financial Analysts to join our Project Controlling team based in Dandenong, to support the Financial Management of Rolling Stock maufacturing and maintenance projects.

The Finance Project Analyst will work under the direct supervision and guidance of experienced Finance Project Mangers, and will actively contribute to providing financial analysis, project accounting and reporting expertise and business partnering support to project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities for this Role Include:
 Review and check the accuracy of the financial data accounted on the project

 Check and control cost movements on a monthly basis, compare “As Sold” Situation, with latest forecast and emerging trends

 Support the Finance Project Manager in conducting monthly work package and project reviews and prepare project financial estimates.

 Support the ongoing and month-end accounting activities of the project with regards to project accounting accruals, journals posting, balances reconciliation, customer invoices posting, Purchase Order management, Inventory control and reporting etc.

 Provide value added financial analytics of the project situation and assist the FPM in the preparation of regular project finanical forecasts and budgets.

 Master all financial aspects of the project a a detailed level and provide business partnerning supportto FPM and other project stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required Includes:
Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce desirable. Aspiring CA/CPA trainees with Graduate qualification in Finance or Accounting are also welcome.

Previous experience in Finance, Audit, Consulting roles a plus.

Knowledge in MS Excel and MS suite of applications preferred.

Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.

Attention to detail and a flair for data analytics.

Eagerness to learn and develop in a fast paced environment.

Enjoys being a team player and can work well with diverse teams.
