Position: Senior .NET Developer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with your project team to work on tasks from the backlog that are based on the project’s priorities

• Deliver features in a timely manner without being given much detail, design, or specification

• Understand the current sprint priorities and know when to change focus to finish the sprint on time as well as raise any flags when you suspect the project timeline might be at risk

• Provide feedback on designs for completeness, implementation effort, and feasibility

• Help plan out sprints by writing tasks and providing estimates

• Review project team members’ code submissions to match the needs of the project (in terms of quality, correctness, consistency, performance, etc.)

• Identify when your project team members are stuck on a technical challenge and offer support by sharing technical knowledge

• Foster an open, collaborative, and inclusive environment

• Help grow the Engineering team by participating in hiring interviews and code reviews while making suggestions for process improvements

• Identify the department’s opportunities for growth and help develop initiatives

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of senior backend engineering experience, in a lead role is an asset

• Proficient with Back End production applications using C# ASP.NET core framework. Familiarity with Razor Pages and web development frameworks like Bootstrap, jQuery
• Strong with SQL, MVC, and domain-driven design principles

• Ability to design strong technical solutions that internal and client teams understand and want to work on

• Ability to architect an application and understand how business tradeoffs impact technical choices, and vice versa

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, while being comfortable leading presentations of work frequently

• Adaptable and quick to embrace unexpected changes in direction

• Appreciate design and can protect its integrity without compromising fidelity or feasibility

• Motivated by feedback and the opportunity to improve in your role, in the work, and in how you work together as a team

• Having an appreciation of design, while protecting its complexity without compromising fidelity

• Ability to multitask without compromising your diligent attention to detail

• Responds positively and can help the team adapt to changing priorities within fast-paced projects

• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable advocating for yourself and the tasks at hand

Salary: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
