Alpha Matrix Hiring for Controls Engineer at Baltimore, MD Full Time

Are you an experienced and creative Controls Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Are you skilled in PLC programming with Siemens/Allen Bradley and proficient in developing user-friendly HMIs?

As a Controls Engineer, you will be a key member of our controls staff and responsible for programming PLCs and HMIs, designing back-panels and selecting hardware, and troubleshooting new products. You will also design controls that can be configured to operate a range of equipment models and system designs. Travel opportunities are available for field usage studies and beta testing.

Qualified candidates must have experience in motion control, and a strong understanding of control networking through Profinet, Ethernet IP, or Modbus TCP/IP. Additionally, candidates must possess knowledge of process instrumentation and control devices for level, position, flow, temperature, etc. Experience with MEMS technology or electrical codes (UL, NEC, NFPA) is a bonus.

Job Requirements:

Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
