Are you currently seeking a role that allows you to utilize your knowledge of custom automation and precision machining? Do you have a passion for developing accurate concepts and budgets for cutting-edge automation systems? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Application Engineer. As a key member of our collaborative team consisting of sales professionals, managers, designers, and builders, you will play a vital role in developing uniquely designed assembly, inspection, and test systems for industries that demand precision assembly for their components, including automotive, aerospace, defense, medical equipment, pharmaceutical, and industrial component manufacturers.
In this role, you will work closely with customers, sales, and project management, under the guidance of a mentor, to develop accurate concepts, proposals, and budgets for custom automation assembly systems. You will have the opportunity to establish and communicate customers’ goals and objectives, facilitate concept and quote review meetings, and prepare project proposals and presentations. Additionally, you will provide design assistance throughout the project’s design phase, attend internal design and brainstorming review meetings, and collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure effective communication.
Joining our team as an Application Engineer opens up a world of potential opportunities for professional growth and development. You will have the chance to work on projects ranging in size from $100,000 to 1 million dollars, contributing to the development of cutting-edge automation solutions. With the support of a mentor, you will gain hands-on experience in preparing risk assessments, producing CAD drawings using Solidworks, conducting concept simulations using Visual Components software, and traveling occasionally, both nationally and internationally, to collaborate with senior engineers.
If you are eager to make a significant impact in the field of custom automation, collaborate with a talented team, and take on exciting challenges, we encourage you to apply for this role.
