Dog Trainer

Alpha Doghouse Ltd is looking for a dog trainer to join our team. We are looking for someone who is a self starter, has a great attitude, and wants to work with the best dogs and staff in the industry.

Requirements:
Must be able to work Monday-Friday from 7:00am-2:30pm with occasional overtime.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Duties include but are not limited to: training, breaking down and boarding dogs, and providing customer support.

Candidate must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check.Candidate must have experience working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments.Candidate must have the ability to multitask while on the clock and have the desire to work as part of a team.Candidate must have the ability to follow instructions and perform duties independently. * The ideal candidate will be responsible, punctual, friendly, hardworking, and dedicated. Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lantzville, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Working with dogs: 3 years (required)
