Assistant Production Coordinator

Fast paced Junior company looking for a Production Assistant for our Sportswear division

Responsibilities:

• Daily communication with overseas factories
• Issuing production orders and make necessary PO revisions as needed.
• Manage AD and TOP samples; Request samples from vendors, maintain sample tracking chart and coordinate sample pass off to Merchants
• Trims, label, and care approvals
• Tickets, main and care label placement approvals
• Review manual to ensure to meet all customer requirements
• Data entry into multiple customer sights: Army, Kohls, Macy’s worksheets, etc.
• Inter- department communication with: Technical department, design, sales, and product development/ Integrity department.
• Maintain daily Production status charts, track goods on order, in progress and in-transit to ensure timely delivery
• Working in customers systems to submit item setup
• Negotiate ship dates
• Follow up on testing factory audits
• Ensure packing instructions are given correctly

Skills and Requirements:

• Required to be computer proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
• Experience in Production preferred
• Fast pace environment, ability to multi-task while managing multiple projects from front to end
• Extremely motivated with drive and follow-through skills
• Must be detail orientated
• Great interpersonal skills; capable of supporting a team environment
• Excellent English communication skills – verbal and written
• Must have good time management and creative problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt and react to changing work environment
