The Manager Business Operations will partner closely with Leadership and Sr. Management, within a specific LOB, to oversee all business routine requirements for the group to ensure the organization is operating in a highly efficient and effective manner. Responsible for continuing to evolve and enhance existing routines and governance, along with project management and process improvement efforts. This role will provide strategic direction to business partners and team members for overall portfolio management. Effective communication across all levels of the organization and a spirit of building strong business and team relationships is essential.

• Provide strategic direction on initiatives across the LOB.
• Manage meeting cadence and presentation for the Board of Directors, Executive Council, and leadership team, ensuring materials are sent in advance and objectives are achieved.
• Review internal/external Communications: drafting company newsletters, reports, pitch decks, speeches or presentations.
• Lead planning, documentation development, and execution for LOB cross-functional work (e.g., leadership meetings, quarterly all team meetings, employee engagement in partnership with HR).
• Proactively identify/execute process improvement initiatives to resolve redundancy and streamline work for teams within LOB.
• Manage and maintain enterprise governance routines to support leaders across individual business lines (Deposits, Invest, Auto, Mortgage, Insurance, Lending).
• Proactively play a leadership role on ad hoc/topical items that come up throughout the normal course of business (e.g., operational, regulatory, financial, etc.).
• Monitor, track, and report out progress to all levels of the organization.
• Manage change controls and proactively identify/mitigate risks that threaten project timelines.
• Provide recommendations on efficiencies that can be gained based on the current set of circumstances.
• Create and maintain cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• (3-5)+ years experience in business operations, project or program management, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Bachelor Degree or the equivalent preferred.
• Strong leadership and learning agility.
• Exceptional oral and written communications.
• Ability to manage simultaneously occurring tasks, projects and programs in a deadline-driven business environment.
• Ability to effectively influence people at all levels of the organization.
• Experience and the demonstrated capability of leading and motivating teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
• Critical thinking and excellent organizational skills.
• Experience in digital or creative marketing agency a plus.
