Position Overview :

As a Logistics Specialist at Allports Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics department.

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data entry, inventory management, and providing support to the logistics team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Data Entry : Accurately input and maintain data related to shipments, inventory, and other logistics activities into our systems.
• Inventory Management : Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is available to meet customer demands.
• Documentation : Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
• Communication : Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
• Support : Provide administrative support to the logistics team, including scheduling shipments, coordinating deliveries, and handling customer inquiries.
• Problem Solving : Identify and resolve logistical issues and discrepancies in a proactive and timely manner.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field is a plus).
• Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of logistics software and systems are a plus.
• Bilingual Is a plus
