Position Summary

Leads day-to-day operational activities pertaining to the Customer Service Department. Processes

documentation for shipments including Packing lists and MTR’S. Effectively Communicates with

customer and sales regarding order status/shipment, order discrepancies, MTR’s and special

requests.

All while maintaining a clean and safe office work environment.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition to the Responsibilities of “Customer Service”:

Effectively communicates with department supervisors and upper management. Utilizes the email

groups to communicate with sales and operations departments.

Manages Daily operational s to identify priority orders and expediting needs including

back order s.

Coordinates with Sales regarding order information and requests (priority levels, issues, order

changes, cancellations, etc.).

Coordinates outbound shipments with Logistics department.

Processes and handles packing lists according to order specifications and requests from sales

and the customer.

Supports Will-Call traffic by processing documents in a timely manner.

Emails all shipping documents to sales and the customer.

Executes Direct MTR mill requests.

Generates Modification Letters for machined items.

Maintains a clean and safe work environment

Duties are not limited to those described above, and may be expanded as needed.

Information and Activities Critical to Process Quality

Documentation: All documentation related to Release/Order must be accounted for and match the

product description, Heat and manufacturer per order specifications.

• Ensure MTR’s are correctly printed and paired with PL.
• All orders must have an accompanying Weights and Dimension sheet
• Separate and pair releases to the release board (Order Coordinator/Expeditor).
• Verification of all shipped orders (same day or within 24 hours)

Managing Sales requests:

• MTR Retrieval
• Packing list
• Hold for Inspections
• Ship Via Requests
• Documentation discrepancies and communication
