LV= GI have currently got a great opportunity for Financial Systems Analyst in the Finance Systems Team. The role is critical in providing first class support, training and development for complex Financial Systems operated by the LV Group. Over time, the role is likely to include taking the lead on projects, service delivery or product implementations undertaken by LV= where a financial transaction is involved and will act as a deputy to and work closely with the Systems Accountants.

The team is supporting the business in providing state of the art accounting, analysis and reporting platforms that support transaction processing across the business and support the Finance Department in delivering a world class accounting function.

This role will ensure that all financial transaction processing is carried out in a timely manner and that any problems are diagnosed, fixed or escalated so as to minimise risk to our customers and suppliers. You’ll administer and maintain the Oracle EBS and other Financial payment and expense systems supporting the Finance Department and wider LVGIG business. You’ll also provide support and assist in ensuring the ongoing quality and accuracy of inbound/outbound data flows between the Financial systems and source systems around the business.

Financial Systems Analyst will provide first line support and expertise to the transactional accounting modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Manager and I-Procurement. Diagnose, triage and fix errors in the production support environment. You’ll also validate solutions in relevant test environments prior to the user testing and recommend production fixes to second line support team.

Additional activities will cover but will not be limited to:

  • Assisting with all aspects of Financial Systems training, including documentation, one to one user training and training workshops as and when required. Assist with the configuration and maintenance of the Oracle.
  • Providing support and user training for the Global Expense system. Manage and resolve issues with Expense claims processing. Deliver expense system training when necessary
  • Supporting for Financial Accounting Hub and Treasury modules, ensuring all daily processes such as Monarch data extraction modules are run and loaded. Check concurrent output ensuring all warnings and errors are escalated to second line support on a daily basis.
  • Orchestrate system and/or user acceptance testing in the relevant DEV/TEST environments in order to validate solutions and acquire appropriate business sign off before coordinating live deployment.

About you

Preferably previous Oracle Financials experience of support and maintenance of core modules including GL, AP, AR, Procurement and Cash Management and sound knowledge with the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the accounts payable process including purchase order processing.
