Job Summary

Position is responsible for capturing product images/digital assets and preparing them for entry into Diesel Forward’s Digital Asset Management System. This position will be responsible for collecting both existing product as well as new product images. Works closely with Quality, Marketing, and IT.

Key Departmental Responsibilities

• Setup studio space properly to capture a variety of detailed product images.
• Stage or prepare product in a manner that will create consistency in the capturing of images/digital assets across various types of product lines.
• Capture high quality photographs of staged product from various perspectives.
• Work with 360° imaging equipment and software.
• Edit/crop product images to ensure consistency across all product images.
• Upload and maintain images in Digital Asset Management System.
• Create and maintain product image tracking sheet and work cross functionally to prioritize.
• Record metadata while capturing photography of inventory.
• Work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay up to date with latest industry trends and equipment. Help drive continuous improvement.
• Operate in conformance with the requirements of the quality management system.
• Assist other employees both in and out of the department.
• Provide feedback on system needs/changes and improvements.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience taking photography.
• Knowledge on how to setup a studio and camera equipment.
• Proficient with a computer, editing software, and Microsoft Office.
• Well organized with a professional manner.
• Detail oriented.
• A self-starter with initiative and proven willingness to assume ownership of all areas of responsibility.
• Ability to make informed decisions quickly and independently.
• Strong inter-personal communication and employee relations skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
