Recruiting Case Manager (Foster Care/Social Work)

Alliance Human Services, Inc. has an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Recruiting Case Manager in Foster Care or Social Work to join our not-for-profit, therapeutic foster care agency, located in Lynchburg, VA. We are looking for a Bachelor’s level employee, (Master’s preferred), to recruit and certify foster parents in and around the Lynchburg community. Work on some evenings and weekends maybe required based on the families’ schedules.

What does the workday include?

· Marketing Alliance Human Services in the community to generate foster parent leads.

· Conducting home visits and complete required assessments necessary to write home study reports.

· Providing training to prospective and current foster families that is trauma informed and meets the changing needs of the families and clients.

· Participating in pre-placement and placement activities, including assisting with matching a client to a specific Alliance foster family home, who will be able to meet that client’s individual needs.

· Conducting required inspections, home visits, and completing documentation necessary to maintain current foster homes.

· Participating in rotational on-call system providing emergency coverage and crisis intervention support, while receiving additional compensation during your rotation.

· Conducting case management activities for foster children, as needed.

Education and/ or Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred, in a related field of social work or human services.

At least 1 year experience in the social work or human service field and working with families.
