Alliance Freeze Dry Hiring for Production Worker at Langley, BC Full Time

Role(s):

You will work in a team-based setting, operating various equipment and/or performing tasks that contribute to the production of Canada’s finest quality pet foods.

Job Duties-Training Provided, No Experience Needed:

• Process raw meat materials into the final freeze-dried pet foods that meet AFD specifications and standards.

• Ensure the product quality, personal hygiene, and workplace safety standards are properly met.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe workplace.
• During a shift, you may be trained to operate various equipment, including:

• – Meat band saws
• – Frozen meat dicing/sizing machines
• – Packaging machine
• – Automatic tray-loading devices
• – Tray unloading machines
• – Tray washing stations, Pallet Jacks
• – Tempering carts
• – Tray carts etc.

Working Hours:

• 8 hours a day; from 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM or from 9.00 AM to 5:30 PM including a half-hour unpaid lunch break.
• You are available for one or two hours daily overtime if required.
• To apply for part-time you commit to taking at least two shifts per week.

Qualification:

• Ability to manage your time and work efficiently;
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team;
• Can handle raw meat materials: chicken, fish, and beef products;
• Good communication skills;
• Can follow safety and quality requirements;
• Ability to lift 25 kg cases/materials;
• Basic English required.

Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $16.50-$18.00 per hour
