Department purpose
The HR Support Service Centre at Allen & Overy provides a first class service to the firm, offering high quality administration support services through a range of specialist teams including HR Advice, the HR Systems Helpdesk, Resourcing, Graduate Recruitment, Payroll & Reward, Training Events and Global Mobility.
Role purpose
As part of your placement you will spend the year learning how the business operates, the key work streams and relationships in HR, our client groups and the culture of the business. You will gain a variety of skills and breadth of experience as you participate in a minimum of two seat rotations to facilitate your learning about the employee lifecycle and associated HR events, namely in HR Advice and in the field of Resourcing. The role will primarily focus on London and Belfast activities and events but may extend to supporting the international offices on an ad hoc basis. Working across core HR processes will provide you with practical HR experience that will equip you to think differently and embrace an exciting future: one that’s filled with unique challenges and a broad range of opportunities.
