We want you to join this fascinating company in their latest Temporary HR Officer role, providing technical and administrative support for the Human Resources team. If you have fantastic organisational and interpersonal skills, we want to hear from you!
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. The role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered. This is also a full-time role so you must be immediately available to work a full working week.
Temporary HR Officer Responsibilities
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Completing the recruitment administration procedures. Including: New starter contracts/contract variations and leaver processes
Logging additional training requests; researching and organising additional training accordingly.
General HR query management
Absence tracking and system updates
Creation/updating of Standard Operating Procedures/process guides for HR administration
Assist in the administration of the 4 weekly payroll process for the organisation including staff entitlements, allowances and benefits where required
Maternity and Paternity process management
Ad hoc administrative tasks

Temporary HR Officer Experience
Knowledge of HR technologies, and current trends in recruitment and general personnel practice
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
Solid knowledge of recruitment and training/learning and development processes and best practices and the understanding of information processing and documentation procedures
Awareness of existing laws regarding recruitment, data-protection, accessibility etc. and the ability to work with departments accordingly and to adhere to the legal requirements
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people, including internal and external collaborators; ability to convey HR/technical information to customers
Capacity to work independently and to solve problems, in an organised and professional manner
Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word
Location
Our client is based in Central Oxford (OX1). There is no parking on-site, however, there are fantastic public transport routes. Working hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
