Taking the lead on the full 360 recruitment cycle from candidate attraction, sourcing, selection to leading in competency and technical interviews in this fast-paced Internal recruiter role. This role will have an 80% recruitment focus and recruitment business partnering. Generalist HR knowledge alongside recruitment expertise is desirable in order to support the HR team with wider HR issues but not essential.
Part-Time Internal Recruiter Responsibilities
As the part-time Internal Recruiter some of your duties will include:
Working with hiring managers to create compelling and inclusive job descriptions
Identifying the most suitable recruitment channels for various vacancies up to mid-manager level such as headhunting, LinkedIn Recruiter, Agencies, networking opportunities
Sourcing, selecting, and screening candidates and actively participating in competency and technical interviews alongside hiring managers
Advising managers on best practice and recruitment legislations
Scheduling and overseeing competency interviews and candidate interview presentations
Managing the candidate experience with timely updates and constructive feedback

Part-Time Internal Recruiter Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have proven successful INHOUSE recruitment experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment, preferably recruiting within the scientific sector on technical and specialist roles. This role will cover recruitment from graduates up to junior manager level across all business areas from sales, finance, IT, supply chain to operations, chemistry grads and phd Chemists/ Technologists. There is a requirement to be adaptable, hands-on, self-motivated and keen to add value and offer improvements with strong knowledge of UK recruitment best practise and current legislation. You will be confident and credible and able to liaise with stakeholders and candidates to best represent the brand. You will have experience of leading in-house recruitment campaigns and be professional and credible. It is essential that you have hands-on interview experience at all stages of the recruitment process from initial screening to conducting competency and technical interviews including experience of making hiring decisions with leaders. You will have experience of managing complex vacancies and you will be comfortable with actively participating in the complete interview process, from interviewing at all stages, to meeting with leaders after interviews to discuss candidates and support in the hiring decision. Experience of supporting an HR team on HR administrative duties is desirable.
Location
Our client is based near Didcot (OX13) and there is plenty of onsite parking available. The role is office based with the flexibility to work from home on occasion when the successful candidate is comfortable in the role although you will need to be onsite to conduct interviews and meet candidates. Working hours are Monday to Friday. Core hours are 10am – 4pm, with some flexibility with start and finish times.
