We are currently looking for a highly self-motivated, efficient and proactive individual to join our Finance team based in Chullora in the role of Support Account.

Position Summary

This role will perform a range of accounting tasks, including being responsible for:

• Weekly preparation of financial statements for presentation to boards of directors and management
• Providing financial analysis and forecasting
• Providing commentary on management reports
• Gather and analyse financial information for internal use
• Weekly evaluation and analysis on Pickup & Delivery Costing
• Evaluate the company’s performance using key data
• Preparation of various management/adhoc reports that support business decisions
• Variance Analysis around actual results compared to the budget and forecasts for each profit and cost centre
• Analysing trends and financial performance across business units
• Supervising and training junior staff
• Taking part in systems’ and process improvement initiatives
• Advise on problems and suggest improvements
• Oversee the driver pay function
• Oversee revenue recognition

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills:

• 3+ years’ experience in an Accountant role.
• Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
• Attention to Detail, Thoroughness, Organisation, Analysing Information, PC proficiency
• Exposure to Greentree and TM1 would be highly Advantageous.
• Ability to Work Both Independently and as part of a Team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Be able to meet strict deadlines.
• Must be able to solve problems.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
