Logistics Position Open Now! (Mooresville) Local state-of-the-art mold manufacturer is looking for a Logistics / Purchasing Clerk.

Logistics Pay rate : $ Logistics Schedule : 9 : 00 am – 5 : 30 pm (Monday Friday) Logistics Responsibilities :

• The purchasing clerk is responsible for negotiating vendor terms. Prices and schedule deliveries using knowledge of budget and schedule requirements.
• Responsible for packaging, shipments, and distributing products both incoming and departing the facility.
• Attention to detail.

Logistics Duties :

• Adhere to purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.
• Load and unload trucks sometimes using a forklift.
• Package all outgoing shipments including mold components.
• Must be able to work in a schedule-driven environment meeting deadlines.

Logistics Requirements :

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.
• 2 years of experience of purchasing-related experience or demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Uses knowledge of bills of materials, machines, and equipment.
• Heavy lifting involved.

Logistics Work Environment :

• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
• Frequently exposed to wet, hot, and / or humid conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
