Education: This position requires an associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: This position requires at least 1 to 3 years experience in human resources, recruiting and talent acquisition. Experience with background checks, reference checks, license, and credential verification. Familiarity with human resources policies, procedures, and compliance. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Hands-on experience with HIRS, applicant tracking system and human resources training systems and technology is essential. Knowledge and understanding of JCAHO human resources requirements. Additional HR training or experience is a plus. Healthcare or behavioral health experience is also a plus.
Special Skills & Knowledge: Candidates should have the following skills and attributes: Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Thorough understanding of technology and the use of social media in recruiting and talent acquisition. Must be able to work and communicate well with people; be adaptable and accept changes quickly and easily; be willing to address conflict appropriately, highly organized, and methodical, detail-oriented, communicate professionally in both verbal and written forms. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in human resources recruiting and talent acquisition. This position requires a high level of energy and creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to make solid human resources decisions. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines.
