This family-owned Nursery & Garden Supplies business has been servicing it’s customers for 42 years and is currently seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking person to join their team based at Hoppers Crossing.

Responsibilities

• Support Management with recruitment process (prepare adds, vet resumes, attend interviews)

• Prepare contracts for new staff

• Pass contracts to Payroll for updating in payroll system and MYOB

• Liase with Workplace Assured for advice as required

• Keeping up to date with employee/employer legal requirements

• Implement approved employee benefits program initiatives

• Review HR policies for best practice

• Assist management and participate in disputes/disciplinary processes

• Manage training & development platform with Leadership team for staff

• Stay on top of best practice initiatives and recommend to Management

• Staff development

• Check in with Leadership team regularly on staff well being

• Perform compensation analysis and compare to best practice

• Introduce and work with KPI’s and tools to support staff retention and development
