Job purpose

Responsible to process all eligibility files and provide excellent customer service with quality. Supports and collaborates with Eligibility Department to complete all duties and responsibilities required with a caring and collaborative spirit.

Duties and responsibilities

· Process, maintain and reconcile eligibility datasets

· Communicate with health insurance providers via phone and/or via web portals to validate member eligibility.

· Provides excellent service to the patients and clients you serve.

· Supports department/manager to perform any other duties upon request.

· Assist other departments/projects as needed.

Qualifications

· 3+ years’ Experience processing enrollment files

· 2+ years’ Experience with all Customer Service calls related to the Healthcare Industry

· Authorization and Claim processing understanding

· EZ-Cap experience preferred

· Must be able to work Pacific Standard Time 8 – 5 PM.

· Proficiency using Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) and Adobe

· Detail oriented and highly organized

· Strong ability to multi-task, project management, and work in a fast-paced environment

· Strong ability in problem-solving

· Ability to self-manage, strong time management skills

· Ability to work in an extremely confidential environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Working conditions

· This job may require flexible work hours due to the nature of the responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
