The Role

In addition to programming-related tasks for electrical control PLCs, the candidate will also help support the functions of daily production and preventative maintenance of all equipment. The candidate should be willing and able to take instruction from their Supervisor.

Candidates must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and health and safety requirements and ensure a clean work environment as required in the food industry.

We are currently searching for experienced Electrical Designers as outlined below.

Qualifications: Maintenance Technician – Electrical Controls PLC Programmer

The ideal candidate must be:

• Honest, cooperative, adaptive, and autonomous

• Self-motivated, dynamic, analytical, and ready to do what it takes to get the job done

Must be able to demonstrate an ability to:

• Read schematic drawings and understand and troubleshoot electrical panels
• Program modern PLC, specifically Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000 and Siemen’s Step 7 TIA platforms
• VFD understanding, commissioning, and start-up
• Understanding Safety and programming safety processor
• Industrial Networks understanding and configuration such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and Modbus TCP
• Sound Knowledge of PID controller concept and tuning for motion applications
