Align Home Care (formerly Home Care Assistance of Southern Maine, LLC) is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition / Recruiting Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. We provide older adults with quality non-medical care that enables them to live happier, healthier lives at HOME.

Job Summary:

Your primary responsibilities in this position would include RECRUITING, hiring, training and conducting performance evaluations, and developing retention programs for the Caregiver staff. The best candidate for this position would be someone who has prior experience hiring Caregivers. This job requires someone with enthusiasm and the ability to multi-task. You would work collaboratively with the management team to attract the best of the best caregivers to our team. This person is a “go getter” with a positive attitude and must be able to think “outside the box”.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Recruit, screen, interview, and hire Caregiving staff
• Conduct new Caregiver orientation
• Serve as staff support for Caregivers, explaining company policies, assisting with conflict resolution, and promoting retention and job satisfaction
• Collaborate with the care management team to counsel, discipline, and make termination recommendations of care giving staff when necessary

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• Previous demonstrated success in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment or Staffing
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and changing environment
• Working with a positive attitude and compassion for others is a must
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Computer literacy (MS Word and Excel) required
• Prior experience in the Home Care Industry is beneficial
