Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing, controlling, planning, and implementing all accounting and financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Tax and Financial Planning (budgeting and forecasting) as well as Strategic Planning.

This position has a high level of interaction, up to senior levels, with all areas of organization not only in the US but with other branches and headquarter.

Responsibilities

• To lead and direct the Finance Department in all areas including Accounting, Treasury, Tax and Financial Planning (budgeting and forecasting) as well as Strategic Planning.
• To supervise and lead accounting staff including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
• Month-End Closing: review of P&Ls, cost, revenue and expenses analysis, GL account reconciliations as well as preparation of Journal Entries; investigate variances and set recovery plans.
• Accounting, monthly reporting: preparation of Monthly Financial Reporting package in a timely and accurate manner adhering to HQ guidelines; includes Excel reporting, preparation of PPT for Board meetings as well as specific reports on internal platforms. Prepare and provide detailed explanation of actual results variance compared to expected results (budget and/or forecast) and prior year.
• Accounting, annual reporting: preparation of US GAAP annual financial statements.
• Financial Planning: preparation and management of Annual Budget as well as Quarterly Reforecasts; this includes complete preparation of budget and forecast reports compiling information from all areas of the company; comprehensive and detailed analysis are required. Monitoring of budget and reforecast performance.
• Treasury: oversee treasury matters and overall cash management on an ongoing basis; understand, manage, and supervise all areas of Cash Flow; preparation of periodic Cash Flow reports to be sent to HQ with comments and explanations.
• Annual External Audit: responsible for annual External Audit; provide external auditors with all required information to ensure that Annual Financial Statements are issued on a timely manner as per guidelines provided by HQ.
• Tax compliance: responsible for overall Tax compliance (Income Tax, Sales Tax); provide external advisors required comprehensive reports for annual tax filing as well as quarterly tax reports; supervision of monthly Sales Tax filings in all states applicable which is performed by Accounts Payable analyst.
• Supervisory responsibility of Accounts Payable positions; ensure that accounts payable are properly posted, are paid in a timely manner and all reasonable discounts are taken. Approval of outgoing payments to suppliers.
• Supervisory responsibility of Accounts Receivable positions; ensure that accounts receivables are properly posted and that they’re collected promptly; managing AR aging in order to accomplish established targets defined by HQ.
• Implementation of reporting processes and fraud prevention plans to minimize financial risk of the company.
• To work hand on hand with IT department to carry out projects that improve the overall performance of Finance department while satisfying the needs of a growing business.
• To prepare ad hoc analysis and reports on financial performance as required.
• To ensure compliance with all internal processes following guidelines provided by HQ.
• To ensure adherence and compliance to financial laws and guidelines.
• Review inventory reporting and periodic inventory cycle counts to ensure that processes are being followed and adjustments to the inventory are being reconciled in a timely manner.
• Development of a process to ensure ongoing margin improvement, including being proactive with credit, asset management, carrier management, etc. identifying opportunities for ongoing improvement.
• Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent issues.
• Ensure adherence and compliance to financial laws and guidelines

Professional Requirements:

• Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
• 12+ years of accounting work experience is required
• Experience with audits performed by Big-4 firms.
• Experience in working for a large multinational company.
• Experience in preparing and managing budgets and reforecast is required.
• ERP training required, ideally SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Microsoft Power Point and Word skills required.
• CPA license is desired but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
