Talent Acquisition Partner(Inside IR35)
Contract Term: 6 Months (potential Extension)
Contracting Authority: Bank of England (BOE)
Location: London (2 day a week in the office)
This role sits within Experienced Hires (Talent Acquisition) team, in the Talent Acquisition & Development (TAD) function of People & Culture, alongside Future Talent, Learning & Organisational Development and Talent. The teams collaborate and work very closely to ensure that our activity is aligned throughout the function. The team are responsible for internal and external experienced resourcing across the Bank, partnering with the Bank to advise and support them with the acquisition of talent. This role will support the Directorates with specialist hires into difficult to fill roles, where the job market
As a Talent Acquisition Partner your main responsibilities would be:
· Acting as a credible adviser to key stakeholders in providing best practice and expertise to attract, select and appoint talent into the organisation.
· To proactively source and identify qualified candidate for key positions across the Banks.
· To lead and manage the recruitment (internally & externally) for your customer groups internally
· To review external communications, including careers site, digital platforms and social media accounts, to ensure they’re in line with recruitment legislation and reflect our employer brand to attract candidates to the bank.
· Identify new sources of attracting a diverse pool/talent pipeline of candidates externally through various attraction tools and campaigns including social media, job boards, direct sourcing, maximising usage of Linkedin and through innovative channels.
· Provide best practice including coaching, training and support to hiring managers when recruiting to provide a fair and consistent recruitment process.
· To manage agency relationships for permanent recruitment as well as contingent/temporary labour
· Represent the Bank externally at Talent Acquisition conferences and industry events
· Proactively researching trends in the recruitment market and techniques to remain competitive and to encourage diverse talent pipelines
· Assist in building job descriptions, interview questions and assessments that contain non-biased language
· Measure success through MI metrics.
Essential experience
· SC Clearance essential
· Strong understanding of best practice for recruitment, including experience embedding best practice
· Experience of embedding change and continuous improvement within recruitment processes.
· Strong stakeholder management experience and influencing hiring managers
· Proven track record in the full end to end recruitment process within a fast paced and complex environment
· Experience with sourcing and using innovative attraction solutions (including Linkedin , job boards and advertising to attract candidates and showcase our Employer Brand initiatives
Desirable experience
· Familiarity with online and offline sourcing within the recruitment space (e.g. through professional networks, social media or job fairs)
· Level A & B psychometrics trained * Understand the recruitment market in Procurement and Central Services (HR, Finance, IT) in Banking/Financial Services/Insurance sector
