About the role
Reporting through to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Develop strategic solutions to attract quality and long-term candidates to join the team and monitor results against KPI’s around retentions and time to fill
• Work closely with Hiring Managers to take detailed job briefs to ensure you have a solid understanding of the criteria of the role
• Create advertisements and post on the relevant job boards to attract strong candidates
• Phone screen, shortlist and arrange interviews with assistance from Hiring Managers
• Arrange Pre-Employment Medicals, conduct reference checks and arrange for additional testing when required
• Provide support to Hiring Managers to assist them in the decision-making process
• Make offers to candidates and coordinate remuneration negotiations, coupled with getting back to unsuccessful candidates through providing solid feedback
• Develop and maintain market knowledge and provide this knowledge to the business
• Recruitment reporting and updating of the database to ensure relevant and current information is entered into the system

About you

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Recruitment focused role
• Previous experience in both blue-collar and white-collar recruitment would be preferable
• Knowledge and understanding of industrial awards and legislation obligations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to problem-solve and meet strict deadlines
• You will have a self-driven nature and a desire to set goals
